Papaya Cancer Cure Formula

The story of how Stan Sheldon cured himself of cancer by drinking a boiled concoction of papaya leaves was first reported in the Gold Coast Bulletin in 1978. Now research in the USA has given scientific support to his claim, isolating a chemical compound in the papaya tree which is reported to be a million times stronger than the strongest anti-cancer drug, Adriamycin.

As the story goes, back in 1962, Mr. Sheldon was diagnosed with rapidly spreading cancer in both lungs and was given just five months to live. Following an old Aboriginal recipe, Mr. Sheldon subsequently cured himself of the deadly disease by drinking the papaya concoction for two months. His doctors were surprised to find all signs of malignancy had disappeared!

Although Stan Sheldon was cured of his cancer by drinking the papaya tea, he was careful not to label the tea as a "miracle cure" for cancer, although several of his cancer-stricken friends were cured by using the same formula. Mr. Sheldon believed, even then, that one should not give up the proven methods of cancer treatment and rely solely on herbal treatment.

Papaya Leaf Tea Recipe
7 medium-sized papaya leaves, not too young, but not old ones
2 litres of water

Method
1. Wash and dry the leaves.
2. Roughly chop up leaves and stems to about 3cm. and put into a saucepan with the water.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil, lower flame and simmer (with lid off) until liquid is reduced by half.
4. Strain liquid and discard leaves and stems.
5. Keep in glass bottle and refrigerate.

Directions for Use
1. Shake the bottle before pouring.
2. The Aboriginal recipe's recommended dosage is 50ml three times a day.
3. The concoction will keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days before fermentation occurs.
4. If the liquid turns cloudy, do not use. Discard and make a fresh batch.
5. The concoction smells and tastes foul! However, it may be added to other fresh juices, thank God!

Note: It is best to use freshly harvested papaya leaves for the tea. However, if you keep fresh papaya leaves in the refrigerator, it is advisable to use them up within 3-4 days.

I'm still collecting information on the power of the papaya as medicine, and will be posting my findings as and when. One of the books I constantly refer to is written by Harald W. Tietze - Papaya As Medicine (A safe and cheap form of Food Therapy). The book lists the many uses of the papaya tree for numerous ailments, including recipes for cosmetic purposes as well as for drinks and desserts. Check if it's available from Amazon.com.

As in all my other posts, a word of caution to cancer patients who might like to try out this formula - please do not stop whatever medical treatment you are currently undergoing. You are well-advised to consult your attending physician before attempting any alternative medicine. That said, I pray for the full and speedy recovery of all cancer-stricken readers who chanced upon my blog.

To readers who have tried this formula, or know of anyone who has, it would be helpful if you can share your comments with other readers, thank you.
